Kids will be introduced to various techniques for rendering form, creating depth, and achieving different effects with different media. This may include learning about shading, perspective, and composition. Recommanded for ages 7 -12

This 6 weeks class offer a basic to intermediate introduction in clay construction, glazing and the pottery wheel. Students will create several unique pieces using the various techniques taught in this course. There will also be discussions about their finished projects, allowing students to talk about their own process of bringing their ideas into being and kids will get to try different clay types from air-dray clay to pottery to modeling clay.

Thursdays, February 26 - April 2 (6 sessions) from 3 pm - 4:30 pm.
