Happy Thanksgiving!
One of my favorite holidays when I finally get to slow down (or forced to slow down lol) and reflect and excise gratitude.
So much to be grateful for, family and friends of course, my health, my job my teachers, my purring crazy cat, my neighbors, a sunny fall day, a gym class, a good book, dinner with the girls, glazing alone in my tiny wheel room, bitter coffee in the quiet of my house while everyone is still sleeping.
Thanksgiving is all of those tiny moments. I hope you will get to slow down and rest and believe that everything is going to be OK. #thanksgiving #artstudio #creativeartandclay
We had three days of morning and afternoon camp that just ended today.
Lots of talented and kind artists showed up and we had a lot of fun.
It’s the journey not the destination.. so things got messed up, some of our air dry clay broke, finished creations got forgotten in the studio (along with some sweaters, snacks and water bottles :)). But I hope kids will remember how fun it was to learn about watercolor techniques, get muddy using clay, create slime and a huge mess along with it, do some free style drawing and painting and in general, create something beautiful together.#artcamp #potterystudio #clay #claystudionearme #clayclasses #potteryclassesnearme
