Wayne Thiebaud Pastel
Enjoy and afternoon of creative activity, creating your own oil or chalk pastel image or get inspired by the famous artist Wayne Thiebaud and his signature work. Our talented teacher will walk you through the steps of creating these iconic images. Saturday, August 8 from 4 pm - 5:40 pm.
Tuition: $55/person includes lesson and art supplies. Bring your own beverage.
Sip & Clay
This fun and interactive class will introduce you to traditional hand-building and surface treatment techniques while pushing the boundaries with unconventional methods. We will explore how to shape clay, understand glaze application, and learn about what happens during firing.
The price includes lesson, clay, firing and glaze application by instructor. You will have the option to glaze your own pottery by signing up for a glazing class after the first firing process. (Glazing classes are on Saturdays and Thursdays and they are $30/class.) Bring your own beverage and snack and enjoy socializing while creating something special.
Saturday, August 15 from 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm - No experience necessary. Price: $75/class .
Beginner Pottery Wheel Session
This hands-on pottery wheel class will provide an introduction to the fundamental techniques of centering clay, pulling up walls, shaping basic forms and trimming. No prior experience is needed.
Tuesdays, September 1-22 (4 classes) 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm
Tuition: $340/session

Turn clay into something special. Join us for our air-dry clay workshop, where you’ll get to shape your own unique pieces using easy-to-work, fast-drying clay. Whether you want to create a cute trinket tray, a mini sculpture, a candle holder, or a decorative object for your room, this clay workshop gives you the freedom to design it your way.
(Please note: this type of clay doesn’t get fired and we won’t use the pottery wheel).
